I didn't leave school with the greatest GCSES and I started on Public services and switched after two years to Sport and I was able to work my way up from level 1 to level 3 due to the outstanding tutors who work at the college. If anyone is considering doing either sport or public services I can assure you that you will learn loads and have the time of your life. I personally wanna thank all the tutors who taught me at the college and who have given me the confidence to realise that through hard work and commitment you can be a success in whatever career you choose.
I completed 2 evening courses here for functional skills (Maths and English) as I'd missed the enrolment at the time for the GCSE English, I did later enroll onto GCSE English and also a BTEC IT(System Support and Networking) extended diploma. The teaching staff are amazing! They really do want you to do well! They can be approached with any problems and they will make every effort to help and support you best they can!
I started at queen Elizabeth sixth form but it wasn't for me as I wanted a more practical approach. The college was so supportive and tutors very welcoming. I had a difficult time with bereavements during the end of my course and the college let me finish my BTEC Level 3 in children's care learning and development via distant learning. Gilly beck was amazing so understanding I wouldn't have achieved my triple distinction, completed the course or be where I am today without her or the college.(I have just completed my degree with Oxford) It means the world for someone to see your potential and enable you to achieve it.
