About the Business
The CTC Curriculum Mission promotes an education culture which is scientific and technological, vocational and international. It aims to provide, up to the age of 16, not only the sound and broad educational foundation of the National Curriculum but also a value-added emphasis on the practical scientific, technological, mathematical and communication skills needed by manufacturing and service businesses.
The aim after 16 is for increased specialisation in these emphasis areas whilst ensuring, through enrichment activities and a core curriculum, that young people will be both well-educated and technologically skilled ready and able to progress into employment, further training or Higher Education according to their individual abilities, attainments and aptitudes.
